Autruche
Quick solution; use only 1 coil from the DVC sub... In truth though, don't do it, different subs have different TS specs and will cause a slight bit of cancellation. Quote Need Test Tones/Sine Waves? nismo923
Would it be possible doing it in two chambers totally sealed off from one another and on separate amps? Each amp matched to the sub they are driving? Quote "If you're new. Stay away from 4000 watts please." C-Fizzy

Each amp matched to the sub they are driving? Yeah that would be possible and it would work, but makes no sense whatsoever and your much better off just getting two of the same subs, by the time you do all that you could have done it right already and it's much easier Quote so far... Watch the bass
Let your friend sell the single and buy another dual sub. So he can use the max out of his amp. Quote "in the abundance of water, the fool is thirsty" Bob Marley

Metelface420
I'm facing the same problem. What if I were to wire one up to its own amp or different channel on the same amp
