MarcoCaparrotta
So my friend recently got a truck, and yesterday I installed 2 pioneer 6x9's in the door for him. However, I dont know if the connections are good. I just twisted the wires and taped it. They play, but is there anything I should do to make it stronger? thanks. skittlesRgood
i use butt connectors the most often just because its quicker. but you do have the chance of over crimping or under crimping. remember when you solder to heat the wire until the solder melts against the wire. the wire should soak it up. putting a little solder on the iron first helps heat up the wire faster. and dont forget to put the heat shrink on before you solder lol.
