I can't say much on the glassin cuz I only see a couple of pics on it and you look like you got it handled. Since it's "structural" to form the tub and not "prettywork" it's a lot more forgiving. Just make it nice and strong and don't be afraid/hesitant to brace it with mdf cross sectional braces or 2x4's. Makin it "too strong" won't hurt nuthin.
