ok. im looking at getting 2 8' subs. ive been looking at skar audio vvx8 n it looks sweet but it seems to be same basic sub as sa8. but sa8 has a beefier looking surround. which of the 2 would have better sq do you think. and whats better for sq for a box.ported or sealed

aq is supposed to give out good sound quality. i used to have an oooold 8 inch orion and sounded awesome for rock and metal. i dont want to rattle apart my car. its mild thump.

if you want real sound quality go with hertz, focal, etc, out of the SA and the VVX i'd go with the VVX for sound quality. just my .02 :pardon:

I believe what you are after is "sound good" True SQ takes lots of time and money, money due to equipment(I.E. sub/amp/processors) and then time adjusting imaging,processing,EQ, etc.....

sound quality is sound quality.i ddnt say i wantto have a complete sq setup. i was asking which of the 2 subs had better sound quality.

Depends on the enclosure and application. I'm sure they will both sound like ass if thrown at a cat ;)

Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks :)

Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.
