so whenever my amp is on, my subs are constantly just playing some random tone and i cant get them to stop. anyone know what is wrong? or if its just the music thats playing?

Car: 1995 Jeep XJ Cherokee Sport 4.0L (2wd)

Headunit: Pioneer AVH-P5000dvd

Front Doors: blown stock

Rear Doors: blown stock

High amp: none (for now)

Subs: 12" Kicker L7 D4

Sub amp: JL Audio 500/1v2

Wiring: Stinger Pro

Speaker wire: Stinger 12g

well....setyour amp gain at 0 and then try if the subs stil plays...

Sounds like you're getting feedback. Is this only with the engine running?

it does it car on or off. i noticed that it will stop after my car is running for about 5 mins then it pics back up. and i would make a video but i lost my camera:/

What kinda rca's? My buddy had that problem and he was using some cheap ass rca's replaced and it fixed it. But his were humming all the time.

i just got these bunk scoshe ones that my friend gave me cuz mine got stolen. it doesnt seem like rca whine oranything and i have the power wire on the opposite side, but i'll pull everything out and see what happens once its all back in i guess

What kind of headunit is it? Pioneer is known for this problem

Google "grounding rcas and try that. Its the only way I can keep my 680 from doing it., my 860 don't whine at all tho

Hope this fixs your problem
