They are saying the OA-18 will probably need 4-5ft^3 but they dont I've the parameters out yet.. And Larry we both know they are suggesting xplods just to be funny, I'm not saying xplods can't ever be worth a shit or sound decent with someone that knows what they are doing. But everybody knows that is never probably a good buy. And you can't really judge a system by a flex video on YouTube so far... kam311 Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 On obsidiancaraudio.com you can see the exact size of cubic feet that the sub requires, 15's usually need about 3 cubes ported. I personally don't like sealed boxes, they just don't appeal to me or the way I like my system. Normally ported hit a lot harder and are better on the lows. For your first box I would get a professional on her to design it like ray, or ram-designs so far... The only thing skittles is saying is that it's kinda funny when sani says it, but not all the other noobs that followed. A few weeks ago most the people making the jokes could have very well asked the same question, that's actually the funniest part of this thread. And it's just kind of fucked up when a new member comes on asking a legitimate question and everyone just trolls the thread .
