meade916 Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 Nope anytime a car is seized for illegal street racing they crush them...I saw many a car get crushed when i worked my gig it was sad at times...They figured it would cut down on racing because people wouldnt want their cars to get crushed i have never, in 24 years of driving, seen anyone get their car crushed for street racing. I dont think this car was crushed because of that. Thats youtube for you, you can make anyone believe anything just by the title. I also dont believe we even have a law (here) that allows the police to crush your car either. You might go to jail and have hefty fines, lose your car for 30 days or something but i HIGHLY doubt its going to be crushed.....i mean if you kill a bunch of people maybe but not if you just get busted doing it. side note: i almost got the Red one - i like that car, almost wish i did! i am going to quote myself on this before anyone says "oh yes there IS a law that allows them to crush your car"......i believe you have to have a court order as well as proof that something shady was done with the V.I.N. number before that can happen. The people getting their cars crushed have stolen parts, swapped vins, etc. im not condoning it but im just saying, you might pay a price, but if you are legit, they aren't crushing shit.
