Hey guys. I would like to know what you think of that . Now i'm running 2 sa-12's on a aq1200d but I would like to have more power. Is it better to change all my sub and amp or just buy a stronger amp like a aq2200d ? Maybe 1000 rms each it's too much ? Tell me what you think of that . Or if I run my aq1200d at ,5 ohm ?

aq2200d would be ok if you set it up right and box is designed for more power and you could get another aq1200d and strap them

Design the box for more power ?

What are the specs on your box? SA 12s tend to get loud in larger boxes. I'm running mine in 4 cubes net with 50 square inches of port on a crescendo [email protected] daily, and they take it with no problems.

Design the box for more power ?

you basically build a smaller box when running more power to keep the suspension under control, that is if you're happy with the volume knob, more experienced audiophiles might be able to get away with a bigger box on huge power but they know when their equipment is getting pushed to it's limits.

in the proper box you could either:

1) add a second AQ1200d

or

2) upgrade to an AQ 2200d
