CJ18 Posted November 2, 2011 Report Posted November 2, 2011 I am trying to test a headunit and am trying to hook it up direct to a battery. I am wiring the red and yellow to the positive and black to ground. This should work but it isnt. If someone has done this and knows what I am doing wrong please tell me. This headunit was working just fine when it was uninstalled. Am I missing something here? Quote

Remote I believe is used to power your amp when the h/u is on. CJ: thats the way I've tested h/u before and it worked, h/u fuse not burnt? Quote
