Id leave 8" on 1 side and subs up port to pass side

3 8" ports tuned to 31hz

Should pretty much blow the pass side door off at 27-30hz

"subs up port to pass side"

MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..."

Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through.

so has someone literally tried both on 18"s?? "testing and trial/error" is not an option due to the height will be different then the depth so "flipping" it is impractical. . . looking for crazy lows, along with the strong punch

to be honest, what you will idealy want is a bandpass design, since a port in an ext cab truck doesnt really have anything to load off of.

Getting bass into the cabin of a W124 mercedes is impossible.

Current setup:

Temp 1999 panasonic HU

rockford 300.2 for fronts

rockford 200.2 for rears

rockford 400.1 for sub

Leaning towards a 8" in an exponential horn

....extended cab trucks should only us bandpasses? news to me ill keep that in mind when building in my single cab truck..damn there cant be anything for it to load off in there :good:

This isn't teeball. YOU DO NOT GET A TROPHY JUST BECAUSE YOU SHOW UP. Put the work in and then maybe get the respect when it has been earned

151.6 with single 12 at 41 hz

153.2 with 2 12's at 43 hz
