Recommended Posts

I dont see sigs on mobile.

And got them turned off on desktop

Uhh.

I got a 10 coming in next week.

Ill take another look without cutting to much

I would appreciate any ideas, i'm taking it all in. Remember this sub has an 11-12" mounting depth.

Just did some test fitting with cardboard "enclosures". And yeah, 28x18x13 is it through the trunk. Tomorrow, i'm going to look at how much metal I am willing to cut to get a taller box in through the inside. An inch or two shouldn't be TOO bad, right?

So with the carpet and trim out, I got 11.5" coming in through the car. I can easily trim another 3/4" of the metal 'lip', giving me 12.25". To go anymore, I would have to cut a thicker piece of metal that braces across the whole rear deck. Seems kind of structurally important.

plasma cutter and welder.

make your own rear deck. its a unibody. your back firewall will be fine.

just weld some braces to the corners :good:

The cutting part is easy. But i'm no welder, and I don't think I know anyone local who is.

it slides in thru the front man..

box was like 32" deep

ill have to look for the exact size.. its saved somewhere

I had to do the exact same thing with my lancer. Take the folding seats out grind down the bolt that keeps the seat down and slide box in the trunk from the back seat. I have to take the back seats out everytime I wanna take the box out but now I know for a fact that I can fit a total box of 6.67ft3 in my trunk. I never would've thought it
