I finally came up with something that makes sense according to all of my research. For those who have seen my other posts, I'm learning. Give me some feedback please, it would be much appreciated.

Working with an HCCA 15 d. the old one from the 90's. With a sundown SAE1200d v2. So the sub and amp are about percectlly matched. Hopefully this design handles the power well, it should according to what I've read but I'm no master, this is afterall my first 4th order.

Front Chamber - 1.3 ft3 @ 51hz *will two 3'' pvc ports suffice? I have them laying around.

Rear Chamber - 3 ft3

WinSD calculates flat respone from 37 to 77 hz which sounds amazing to me... very musical and a good daily setup.

Hopefully I get some feedback on this one.

37 sounds a little high but that all depends on what type of music you want to listen to...

masterbation is free, and even saves you money.sorry but someone had to say it

sorry, Jimmy...beat you to it (no pun intended)

LOLDON'T get a wife. Best advice I never got, and now it's too late <_<

My build: 12" DCON in a dorm room.

New/current build: 8" woofer, custom amplifier block, fiberglassed speaker pods

Honestly, if you're looking for a wide flat response, just stick to ported. Making a bandpass box flat from 30-70hz is going to result in a box that isn't very efficient compared to what a 4tg order BP is capable of. Ported will give you about the same output and will be easier to build while also taking up less space. Also, the group delay will be higher with the BP box as well.

damn.... there is a lotta shit that goes into this. I keep hearing more terms I'm unfamiliar with... Turns out the speaker has a bad coil anyway so I'll be using the motor and turning it into an 8 and likely throwing it in a tline since I have more experience with them. Is it true to taper your line as it progreses by the way?
