DudeWith4x4
I would redo the layout of that line to have as few bends as possible. maybe have it got the entire width of the truck and back. so just 1 180 degree bend, should be good for a 10 ft line Hey Tony. I built it like that so I could have the sub mounted in the middle of the box and take smaller peices of wood to build as possible. If I use only scrap peices where I work it will be free. lol Will it affect it much having to many bends? -Ross Project Layla Truck: 99' F-150 Gathering things for my next build. DudeWith4x4
Well I'm not set on a T-line I just think they look pretty cool. My port on it is only 3" x 9".. so it would be like 4.5' x 6" box. lol This isn't gonna be a competition box.. More like a SQ and nice looking one. -Ross Project Layla Truck: 99' F-150 Gathering things for my next build. DudeWith4x4
So should I make the tline with mdf and wrap it or should I build it with birch and stainit? What's the price difference on these? -Ross Project Layla Truck: 99' F-150 Gathering things for my next build. Brandon15zzz
Birch. I think birch is about $10 more a sheet. But I love birch cause it's so much lighter then mdf. Makes it easy when it's just you moving the box. Ecco
I would do MDF with this.. Cheaper, especially since this is an in between build.
cc_audio
Wow.. No one? Heres the T-line. I'm not gonna lie, you build that T-line without 45s and all those turns and its going to sound like shit and perform horribly. Yeah it might make some noise, but that is not how to build a proper T-line. You really have no idea how long that T-line even is, so you have no idea what its tuned to. You need to measure exactly down the center of the line with the 45s accounted for to get an accurate length. This would be a proper T-line box for a TC Sounds epic 8", and you can still mount it traditionally as well. It's all gone! The Celica Build Feedback If I buy something from you, DO NOT USE FEDEX! DudeWith4x4
Well it i don't know what the exaact length of the port is but I it's tuned to 29hz according to the way on foreverbumpins thread. I planned on putting 45s on this one just as I did the other. How is your port area so big for a 8? -Ross Project Layla Truck: 99' F-150 Gathering things for my next build.
