scooter99 Posted December 7, 2011 Report Posted December 7, 2011 That sux man! I was wondering the same thing about the port, but in a "newbie would that cause issues" sort of way. Good luck with it! Looks good though. Did you use 3/4" plexi on that? Facebook Page: S99Creations 2006 F250 Lariat Build
DudeWith4x4 Posted December 7, 2011 Author Report Posted December 7, 2011 I though about it when I built it. The re seems to be alright now though. No its 3/8s or 1/2. It has no flex. -Ross Project Layla Truck: 99' F-150 Gathering things for my next build. SoloX18 build: http://www.stevemead..._1#entry1576460 RE T-line build: http://www.stevemead...-between-build/

baaudio Posted December 8, 2011 Report Posted December 8, 2011 def a dark stain. birch looks sooo sexy with a dark stain. Skittles "pretty" box was always a favorite of mine, as well as rickyfiery iirc had an aq in a stained box. baaudio Posted December 8, 2011 Report Posted December 8, 2011 What do you think about a loading wall in the box ba? when i first saw your design the sub firing into the port made me think it could cause loading issues. but honestly i dont have enough knowledge to really tell you what would or wouldnt work. thru the research i did i found that baffle perpendicular to port was louder, and parallel to port seemed more musical. thats why i decided to 45 mine, hoping for the best of both. but by doing that my subs load off my port. im not sure how you would do a loading wall in the box without choking the sub somehow. is there enough depth on the sealed section to flip it? i know thats not ideal cuz then you cant smell the coil but it may make a difference. or find a way to rotate the port to be perpendicular with the woofer.
