carlosg_313
I had the bxi2010, and was pretty solid to me. i had it wired to .5ohm before rise and never had an issue to it. Now with the crescendo, i have the bc3500 and still dont have any issues(had a defective amp at first, but got a new replacement). Where arw you getting the hifonics amp? And if 260 is all you got, then get the hifonic brutus series, but if you can squeeze another $90, then go with the crescendo amp. edit: aaww didnt see the first line. ill rather go with crescendo for the warranty Edited November 8, 2011 by carlosg_313 Quote How do the Japanese feel about bass? You know that since 03/11/11 Progene? cc_audio
They put out very close to rated, I had one for several years. It made a great amp for in between my big amps and damn it was bulletproof. However, $260 is a tad high. What kind of condition is it in? Is it mint, are the mounting feet broken yet (they are notorious for that)? If its in good cosmetic and working condition I'd offer him $230-240. They are great amps, I really liked mine. danterakin
I bought my 2608 brand new for 260 4 months ago and I am still happy with what I paid. They put out good power and gets my L7s pretty warm. But yeah for the price, I'd get it again. But if you can get a Crescendo for same price, I'd go for a more legit company. new guy
also what kind of electrical would i need to run them at .5 ohms? armykyle1
260 is high for it used. I personally wouldn't run either @.5 but if you did, You'd need two decent batts in back plus stock.. What vehicle? really gotta watch your gains. If you're new to this sport I highly suggest you stick to 1ohm, no offense or anything. But I ran 2608 for a while at 1ohm and .66ohms and it became really power hungry. Put lots of power too though. POPLERO
I have the bxi 2610 wired at .5 ohms pushing an 18 btl. For 260, i would get it if in good condition... i paid about 340 for mine when about a year ago. Tends to get a bit warm to the touch but really puts down good power. As far as my electrical.. I curretnyly only 1 YT under the hood with the big 3 and all wires 0awg. I just recently added a dcpower 250 alt. and i dont see below 13.6 now.. POPLERO
and as armykyle1 stated.. if you run them at 1 or 2 ohm that would be a lot better.. anything lower than that gets relly power hungry..
