Cardboardcat15
I wanted to get some feedback here, so tell me what you guys think! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gbzFQAMEHU&feature=channel_video_title Not exactly sure if this is a good number considering the equipment I have, I've never competed before this. 2 300 RMS RE 15's Sealed box AP1500 @ 1ohm Quote My Channel on YouTube. pa-pa-platypus
for a sealed box... definitively not bad..how was this metered? jw Quote This isn't teeball. Team808
It said you were in the no-wall class. What kind of car do you have, where is the box( in the back seat or the trunk). Not a bad score for a sealed box and 300 rms speakers. Quote Member of Team 808 Member of Team North East Spl
dohckiller808
All that matters is that it sounds good to you. My daily 10" ported on 1.5k does 140 if you want to gauge it to something.

Cardboardcat15
I guess I left out some pertinent info there lol. It was DB Drag, and this was all in the trunk of a 1992 Toyota Corolla. The box is firing upward. The box is actually an ebay special prefab made out of 5/8 MDF which has seen better days..and I mean BETTER days. Everything sealed up with meter on the windshield. Had my back seat down for this, I assume I'd lose DB's with it up. Quote My Channel on YouTube. Bigsix
Not a bad score from my limited experience...but those sealed boxes are probably hurting you alot... I just did a 141.8 with less cone area (one 18 and its tuned loww to boot) and a significantly less power( just abt 1k rms)....I bet youd get a great gain if you were to build a new ported box Quote 1999 Lincoln Town Car-(build underway) - (2) SA15s, 4th order, DAT 2500.1, O2 mids n highs, 250a alt, HC 2400, Big 3.... 1994 Pontiac T/A for speeding tickets.- - Currently on jack stands, wanting to be a real race car "Your local forecast, all the ladies in the metro area should expect to see 8 inches tonight" - The Todd Decaf, on 01 November 2011 - 02:38 PM, said: i provide the ammo for destruction, the trigger finger is connected to the volume knob tho URBAN GORILLA AUDIO

Sadly, I don't have enough trunk space to fit both of the woofers in a properly sized ported enclosure. That's why I went sealed to begin with. ANyway, it doesn't matter what box I have for these, I'm ousting them very soon for some new equipment PLus, I'm not sure these 300 watt woofers would be able to handle almost 3 times their rated RMS in a ported box LOL. dohckiller808
They can handle a burp at that. One of those ported may be able to beat that. You would have the space for one ported and it would be more impressive. Not hating on you but I guess its a learning experience.
