Grant Posted December 7, 2011 Report Share Posted December 7, 2011 I live in a rather remote area, so I have a good amount of range on whatever I have, routers, alarms, remotes and whatnot. But I don't even think my brother gets a full mile on his alarm which is a matrix 50.5x (same **** as the 5901). I don't know why you would need a full mile, I think 2 or 3 blocks is enough for remote start, but some people just want to be able to say "I'm a mile away from my car and I can start it."
