justin_garrett
OK just a plain and simple wire question here. I have about a good 50ft of wire laying around that is used to go from a power pole to your house for the meter box on your house what im wanting to know is if it would be ok to use on a car for the big 3 and running to your amps. or would it just be better to get some 1/0 wire 1998 neon R.I.P 137.5 db's Youtube videos http://www.youtube.c...tingarrett64067 2000 Eclipse Headunit = pioneer avh-p1400dvd Subwoofers = 2 DC audio lvl 2 12's Amp= Vibe bass 5 1500rms @ 2ohms Single run of 0awg power and ground wire ( Big 3 wire upgrade comeing soon )

In general though, get some decent 1/0, higher strand count is better. That "power pole" wire is good for powering your home but for car audio the high strand 1/0 has more surface area (increased current potential) and you can find some very flexable stuff to make wire nvigation in your car simpler.
