Its all in how you set your system up and tune in and how well the box is built.... I thought that the specs were mixed up because most Amps output more lower at 1 ohm than 2. I shouldve doneore research. Look at the power ratings for the alpine amp. 500 at one ohm and 1000 at two ohms. That newer one would suit him much better, imo Yeah, I saw that. The site says that the amp puts out more power at the higher impedance though, which seemed odd. I went to Alpines site, and it says 600@4 and 1000@2 Just because the amp outputs all that power doesn't need that it needs to. I mean, the only legit difference is the looks, and basket design. Same motor and construction. I own the '07's personally just because I think they look a bit cooler. I have two dual 4 ohm, and have each wired to two ohms a peice. they're the same? orly? have you noticed that the voice coils are different? and you cant say that the construction and the parts are the same because im sure you havent torn down both woofers to compare them side by side.
