I've had really good experiences so far with DHL. Much better than with the USPS who have completely detroyed two of my packages (one had tread marks on it) and admitted they did it but wouldn't do a thing for me since I didn't have insurance on them. I mainly use UPS now. With any shipping company you have to expect a certain level of mishandling. Sucks though.

I received a package from Dell that was sent UPS. It showed up with the bottom half of the box soaking wet and still dripping and a tire tread running across it.

I talked to someone who used to work for the local UPS warehouse here, and he told me that they play all kinds of games and stuff with peoples packages. None of the games he described would do anything less than mangle the packages.

Time to call and yell at them. It looks like the surround is like stuck in a weird way not normal and the terminals are bent and wires are touching I think.

The pieces of mdf that seemed to go straight through cardboard were meant to hold a plastic cone protector in place and keep the sub supported. But i think they busted the box open then could not find out where they go so just tossed them in.
