LoudBimmer
Hello As some of you know I have BMW 325i. Back seats do not fold down, so all I got is ski hole. Subs are 2 SA-10's. Now, I have tried 2 different types of boxes in there First, was L shaped box, tuned to ~33 hz. Subs and port facing ski hole. At ~40 hz I got 134.8 hz sealed. On music with driver door open I got 136.7. This was with hifonics brz1200 and kinetik hc1800. Second box was burp box with 8" PVC pipe. .5 CF between subs and 2.5 CF joined. On 44 hz tone I got 142.6 with driver door open. This was with saz-2500 and kinetik hc1800. Question is, what it takes to get decently high score (145+) out of this types of set up? without fold down seats. Like placement of box, types of boxes and so on? smokeumtires
Rear deck port Yeilds great results But unless you're a pro in fab work I'd try something else.. Up your power.... And make the box accordingly to the power upgrade...
LoudBimmer
I was going thru other forum and guy had audi a4, same trunk type, same subs and saz1200d. He had L shaped box in the middle of the trunk, facing back and he did 142. Box was tuned to 26 hz. http://www.bassclub.ru/forum/showthread.php?t=28699

After surfing thru other forums, it seems that L shaped box works the best with low tuning. From what I read, I need to create 4th ordered bandpass from my trunk, using ski hole as port.
