Papaslim Posted November 18, 2011 Report Posted November 18, 2011 Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum. My issue is that I just sold my 2 Kicker L5 15s and a Planet Audio 1400rms monoblock. I've been searching for something in my budget of $800 that will sound better than the kickers and hit the LOWS much better. I'm going to have a custom box built for whatever sub or subs I get. Its all going in my 1998 Jeep Cherokee. I'm not really looking to be the loudest, but I do want to be heard from a good ways away. I'm more concerned with being loud AND low. I've been looking at: 2 Audioque sd2.5 15s 1 FI Audio Q 18 1 FI Audio BL 18 2 Incriminator LI 15s I'm mostly likely going to be powering everything with a Hifonics 1700 RMS amp(can't think of the exact model number). Thanks in advance. I have two oa12's on 2k in a big box tuned to 34hz and they really get down on the low notes. Those subs are an all around win so far... Another choice : 2 Sundown SA 15 for example. black BMW X1 2.0 l 192 hp OEM head unit, Amplifiers : Audison AP 8.9 with integrated DSP and Ampere Audio 1200. Focal ES 100 K in front doors, and Dayton RS 180 for midbass under the front seats. 2 SSA DEMONS 10" subs, in a sealed box. SecondSkin Damplifier on front doors, and Luxury Liner Pro for the cargo area.
