Nu_South_Audio
I built an avalanche about 4 years ago using 4 mean machine 15s. Its a sealed blowthru a gets pretty loud on 3k. Now the customer wants to double the power and change subs. How would the level 4s perform in a sealed box. Its never been on the meter but he's definitely louder then i am with his current setup and i hit a 146.7 burp and a 144.? On music. Does anybody have any experience with any of the dc subs in sealed boxes?
CJ18
The level 4 15s will perform great in a sealed box. Look up mr ps jeep before it was parted out. He had 12 level 4 15s in a sealed tunnel.
skyhighcaraudio
i built this last weekend. lvl 4 18s and it was sealed cause the customer had to have sealed. it sounded great to be honest...it caught me off guard and i was really surprised as to how hard it hit. plus the crispness it was great. the subs are good sq subs even in the right ported box so in a sealed they are awesome. i would suggest it... i hope this helps Quote Contact us for the best quality cables and accessories with the fastest shipping in the industry EMAIL: [email protected]<script data-cfhash='f9e31' type="text/javascript"> /* */</script> LIKE US ON FB: https://www.facebook.com/SkyHighCarAudio ADD ME ON FB: https://www.facebook.com/jon.rabe.1 MONSTER SKY HIGH/DC GMC: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/127057-sky-high-monster-gmc-walk-through-12-lvl-5-15s-6-9ks-trim-panels-and-wiring-p-90/

Nu_South_Audio
No problem. But those avalanches are super easy. U don't have to cut nothing just build a box to fit in the bed and a trim ring. That bed cover leaks but as long as u throw some glass on the box and the back of the trim piece your good
