blow thru considered a 4th order

I'm really tryin to ask about a 4th order. Is if I built a box with let's say 4 12's and one side of box is sealed and the other half of box would just have let's just say a 6in round port. And the only hole I have to cut would be is just for the 6in port firing into the cab.

Something like that.but you might need tal to a box designer on size of port.don't think one6 inch port will cut it.

Ok if I ever do cut my cab I want it to be as small as possible.

Well you may have rethink what you want .alot of subs or big subs require port area.can't choke the sub with small port..look at it like this.big hole or small hole once cut its cut...I have blow through measure around 30x15...

my blow through is 8 x 24 and will be making it bigger to run 4 15's, was told to cut it 10x35 at least

That makes sense. But was thinking it could be done. .

right now im running 2 15' on my truck and it hits hard and it helps with the rattle, one of my friends cut the whole but never did the blow through box on his truck and all he's bed rattled like crazy and to top it off he's tanue cover kept getting loose. i like my box but will be adding 2 more 15's

That's why I was saying subs will fire into a sealed chamber and then other half of box would only have the port firing into the cab.

A port for 4 12s is going to be a lot bigger than you think. Be it a ported or 4th order.

That's what I'm trying to figure out. But in all actuality it may only just be 2 15' with one port. I'm just using a 6in port more or less as an example.
