Understand that building a larger than recommended/normal box is going to limit the amount of power that the sub can mechanically handle.

Little power = big box, a lot of power = smaller box.

How do the Japanese feel about bass?

You know that since 03/11/11

Progene? I just saw that stuff on CNN. They said it makes your junk shrink all up. lol.

im pretty sure the op wont even notice if it gets even smaller.

I understand. The n2 can take over 2k and I'm feeding it a Saz1500d so I won't be overpowering it at all I don't think. Right?

Bigger box for less than recommended power. Smaller for more than recommended. 1500 is less than 2000. Simple

Building the box bigger then recommended will allow him to hit xmax on low power, then later if he wants to say add power, you can shrink the box and port very easily to allow the box to control the sub under full excursion so you don't unload the sub. It is a common practice to do this for seasoned competitors and works very well.

Just my 2 cents!!!
