neonguy937 Posted November 29, 2011 Report Posted November 29, 2011 Ok , lets start with the basics Vehicle :2002 Ford Focus SE Subs : 10 Sony Xplod Gt Series 12" Intent: Do a 147 or better at 30hz at the headrest . Now for the Pics : I did some initial measurements for the entire volume I could use without a complex box. After Wood displacement I had 22 cubic feet of internal volume . After finding my measurements, i went into Google Sketchup to mock up some ideas. The Following are 3 usable designs I had come up with : Failed due to possible motor collisions and cancellation . This design is useable but only designed for 10" Drivers This is the design I chose to use for my Build . This design is made for 10 12" drivers in a 4th order fashion So before I started building I needed some much needed upgraded wiring . This is 6 25' spools of 0 gauge CCA Audiopipe Flex Wire . 6 Runs of wire 4 power 2 grounds This wire is temped down until i get my floor deadened. Now I added Fuse blocks as i do not want to risk a short I then upgraded my front battery to a XS D3400 Ok time for some framing and build pics No explanations : Sorry for not having more pics I am doing all this by myself so i cant stop every 5 seconds ... Ill try to update this as I make more progress

But seriously, Sony subs are cheapy low quality stuff but I have seen people use them in big ways. One of the best installers in the world ran Sony equipment for a while.
