PaulO2288
i just figured it had a quicker response than a 18 I think you mean a tighter and higher sounding bass. But the box is 90% of what it should sound like.
ChevyBoy
a 12 will not sound any better than a 18 on music. i dont see where your getting that from. a sub is a sub. that is NOT true. and a 12 and 18 will sound different. jasonw30
--> QUOTE(Eric B @ Nov 18 2007, 04:34 PM) 196111[/snapback] a good quality 18" or 15" will hit jus as good as a 8", 10" or 12", the 18 will be louder and have more output, and remember box is 90% of the build yeah,i know the the enclosure is most of it.12's to me have a better response than 15 or 18. but the 15's and 18's play the lows a hell of alot better. PaulO2288
Yeah maybe someone can help me on some insite of this. My buddy tried telling me that 15"s and 18"s miss beats of a song compared to 8" and 10"s, because of the fact that the larger subs take longer from their peak excursion to come back to to reproduce the next beat of music. He said 8, and 10's have a faster response. I personally dont belive it. I just think the 15"s and 18"s play louder and deeper.
