96burban
I saw this on YouTube the other day and I wanted to do it. The flame thrower exhaust. So I looked it up and theres Is a kit but it costs $100 so I looked it up on YouTube how to do it and everything made Sence and it did it and tested it out b4 installing all the wires all the way the exhaust tip from the engine. And worked beautifully! And then when I wasted 3 hours in wiring and taking seats off and lifting carpets and drilling holes, it doesn't work....I'm having spark and everything but for some reason it's not working and I believe it's because the O2 sensors r correcting it and not letting the unburnt fuel to go through the exhaust to burn. Here's a vid of how it worked. And by the way this is on a 96 suburban. So does anyone know how I can adjust the air/fuel mixture to run more rich?? Thanks. In the vid u can c how each time the flame got smaller.. crispy_chick3n
You could pull the catalytic converter and the o2 sensors off. That should richen up the fuel and let it go all the way back to the tail pipe This page is crispy_chick3n approved. © crispy_chick3n inc

96burban
I mean it worked though. Your just expecting more? Yeah only that one time, and that is the perfect amount of flames for me inwas happy with that i dont want bigger flames haha. But now its not working anymore. It stopped. Thats y i think the O2 sensors corrected the unburnt fuel that was passing through and now is running really lean, not allowing unburnt fuel to go through to ignite. Thts just my theory though. Any one else got any ideas y it could not b working?? And i can tell u now that the spark is working so its not that.
