SS4Luck
Im getting ready to put togethr my electrical and wondering where everyone is hooking up their extra voltage meter at. I plan on running a digital autometer in an A pillar pod. Ill have an HO alt, upgraded under the hood and two batts in the rear lol or you can just start hooking shit up together and blow up speakers and your amp

audiofanaticz
Either the sub amplifier or your rear batteries. Either spot will work best since the voltage drop at the rear batteries, or at the sub amps will be roughly the same readout. However the rear batteries/sub amplifier will see a larger voltage drop then your front battery/alternator would, do to the fact of current flowing the path or least resistance. If you have rear batteries, the amp will suck power from those rear batteries long before it will suck juice from the front battery/alternator, because the wire is shorter. Now if you dont have enough supply for the demand in the rear you would notice a bit more current coming from the front. anyways, rear batteriers or amp for the best results to know the most accurate voltage readouts.
