TheNewbie Posted December 7, 2011 Report Posted December 7, 2011 Hopefully you it All the same siZe fuses if you got new ones... Had the sAme problem ended up being my remote wire. Most likely not the problem by try touching a wire from your power output to the remote see if it turns on without going into protect don't leave it there just give t a touch. If it turns on could most likely be ur remote wire why it's not turning on. Like I sAid most likely not that but just a last attempt to save your amp. Guilherme Posted December 8, 2011 Report Posted December 8, 2011 Hello I'm having the same problem as you. 2 Kicker CVR Dual 2ohms and SSL Amp. 1 month ago it was excelent just needing more power. Than i put a aux battery and change the subwoofers wire. Then the problem starts. The sound it's to weak, i need to set the gain, bass boost and LPF to the half at least. But the sound it's not the same as before. Already change the RCA, still the same. Phase is ok.
STEvil Posted December 8, 2011 Report Posted December 8, 2011 check "subwoofer wire", might have installed it improperly MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..." Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed.
Guilherme Posted December 8, 2011 Report Posted December 8, 2011 check "subwoofer wire", might have installed it improperly it's ok. It was changed 2 times. On the amp, sub output i can't tighten the screw on the positive. That could be the problem?

SoundOfViolence Posted December 11, 2011 Author Report Posted December 11, 2011 Well my amp is on its way back to AQ right now lol but i got new rcas and tested on this new amp i got from a friend. I do have a quick question though. This temporary amp i got is a 2channel 200w amp (very old amp) and i got it hooked up and when i crank the volume up the power light on the amp goes off then back on with the bass. is this because its clipping or what. I have the gains like 1/4. Fi X12 AQ750 Pioneer DEH-6300B h/u
