Shoot it probably would only cost you a few bucks to take it to a fab shop and weld it up real quick. Or if your local high school has a metal shop they would most likely do it for free.

Both good ideas. I might just do the circular steel rod. We'll see for now this is done so ill use it until it breaks

Got out of the doctors looks like breaking my nose could have been more serious than I thought. Doc said that I could have broke my bones in my skull causing brain fluid to leak!! WTF, anyways finally got home around 10 and started kerfing. I did a practice piece then I went ahead and cut the real front piece. Here's pictures for all of you!
