superdave07
Alright so Ive been toying with the idea of getting rid of my integra. I want either a wagon or smaller suv of some kind. With kids and getting older its hard to have small two doors and a stereo. Anyways, I was offered an 01 for escape today. Its black, dark gray interior, 61k miles. front wheel drive five speed today. I'm not a big ford fan. But i looked at the escape. Its pretty nice, big enough for some audio and kids. plus 4cylinder so its good on mpg. My question is, what are the flaws with the escapes? And do you guys think its a good trade? Some info on my integra: 1995 red 5 speed with a rebuilt b18a 60k on it all the suspension and brakes have a little over 1000miles on them. body is pretty clean for its age. 18s, tires and wheels have 1500 miles on them. Non of my audio goes with the integra. Lookin for some comments smd. whatcha got? Brandon15zzz
Escapes are hard to get loud. Also not a big fan of them in general. superdave07
Well that's three no's lol. n8 i would rather have a big suv too, but im trying to keep some decent gas millage. I would love to have a trailblazer or an 01-03 tahoe. Hard to get loud huh? that's not good, def was liking all the cargo room that escape has. I could actually build a nice looking set up lol Alpine, what kind of issues did they have with it. I work for O'reillys corp office, and Ive not heard anything bad about them so that's why I'm asking. splmark
I have an 04 5 speed, it has 120k on it, in the past 4 months I spent around 3000 on it with repairs and u have to hold it in 3edthe gear or it will pop out. It drives nice but it won't get out of its own way lol. Even leaving from a light I have to floor it. I wouldn't do the trade I have a 2 month old and a 5 year old and we are thinking about getting a charger for more room. Oh and im sure u can get alot more for ur car my trade in is like 2800 Quote http://www.termpro.com/dbdrag/memberalbum/34416a0.jpg

splmark
I can do 47-48 with a single 15 and 2400 watts, I needed to replace the cat, alternator, mc and all breaks, and a few more things around 112k. The cat from ford is $1600 but I found one for $600 Quote http://www.termpro.com/dbdrag/memberalbum/34416a0.jpg
412 CVX
I'm not terribly experienced or biased, but from what i've heard and experienced ford doesn't make the best cars. I have an 01 mercury sable (ford sister company), which I baby, paid 3k for it in good condition, now a couple years later the damn thing has cost more to repair than what we originally paid. and it's STILL broken. the AC went out, turns out i have a broken compressor, and the local NAPA quoted me over 1k to repair it. Quote Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs. My temp system build log More box buildssome cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches! I'm with captain stupid.
