KMS
I seen a few threads and a video of the 117 being oscoped and dd1'd to get a clip signal and the threads I read said it doesn't clip at max volume. My question is would this be the unit it's self as a whole or a select lucky few that don't clip? I don't have a dd1 or oscope so this is why I ask. I mean I usually set my gains at 26 volume but everyone that gets in the car likes to turn the volume past that. So at 35 nobody can mess things up. POPLERO
I have the alpine cda 117 aswell add pull the trigger on this specific hu because of its outstanding sound quality reviews and being a 2010 model. I always ran my volume at 28 max since I didn't have anything to test and see if it distorted, but I bought a dd1 and test out the cda 117, and yes it is distortion free at 35/35. I would like to expect the headunits are always distortion free but unsure.. and even after I found out I can go all out full crank to 35, I only go to 33. 2008 TBSS Black Granite Alpine CDA-117 Clarion EQS746 AudioQue Supertweets @ dash Alpine DDT-s30 @ b pillars Alpine SPR-60c @ front doors Alpine SPR-60 @ rear doors Alpine PDX-f4 Second Skin DampPro KNUkonceptz Wiring DCpower 270amp alt Optima YT underhood *temp Two15DCxls Hifonics bxi2610 *temp saz4500 and 4 xp3000s coming soon.
