They build their products in the same building in Vegas...I have 2 12 inch BTLs right now and i would not buy another Fi product. Don't get me wrong the BTLs are good woofers and at a decent price... I haven't had any problems with my BTLs so far but Fi/AA puts their tinsel leads in between spiders so you have no way of telling if they are broken or burnt!
