I've used both. they have more cone area and can get loud but it dont sound clean, but for the price i would get them That is a stereotype, not always true. It mostly depends on the enclosure/ car/ ect. Square subs can sound awesome, believe that. Ask anyone who has heard my Cruiser. But IMO the only real difference is looks. Period.
