8" Subs

Has anybody ever done over 140db's with a couple of 8's

i've seen many like 8-16 sub setups of 8" doing 140s

You will see vids on youtube all the time.

but how many you thinking here... like 2? 4?

Is there reason you ask?

iirc, ray has a couple of 8's in the mid/upper 130s...i would assume some beefy 8s with enough power could do it...

i havent been to any comps where someone was running 8s but i did see a guy with 4 6.5s in a bad ass ported box in a trunk do 145+

Yep, just the 2 8's like Soundsplinters or DD's or Audiopulse.

Any idea who's the bad ass box with the 4 6.5's is and what make and amp ???
