some router questions

so im getting a cheap black n decker router and was wondering what size bits would i need?

mostly 1/4 inch bits

Do you have a circle jig?

Just fyi routers are dangerous as hell and without a jig goodluck trying to cut circles.

What are you going to use it for?

Do you have a circle jig?

Just fyi routers are dangerous as hell and without a jig goodluck trying to cut circles.

What are you going to use it for?

box building n flush mount rings mostly

They're a great tool to have, and a breeze for doing round overs and if you have a good circle jig you will never go to jigsaws again for cutting circles. Lol. Good luck man.

a router can chew up a finger or hand quicker than most realize. out of all the tools I own I have the most respect ofr a router.

haha usually that loud hum demands attention. And OP, your gonna want to find out what size collet it is to find the right bits to use...but like greenmachine said most likely its 1/4".
