I would like to use a smaller amount if it won't affect the quality to much. personally for a 15. id stay close to 1.5 1.6 range. but i like to ground pound. and have lots of port. so that should dictate your decision. most of the lows response are dictated from the sealed side and ratio. So like 45hz? yup. that should be nice. make sure on your port design that you dont choke up the ports like this it was tuned about 45. but it was super peaky and would not play the lowes.
