AmericanLegend
Just turned up on low volume makes the sunroof implode and explode. Woah.. box so epic it makes science false. lolz Haha no kidding bro it really is epic on the low notes. The glue was still drying last night and the batts were drained, so I'm going to try to get some hd vids today. I think the main differences from before to now is the volume of the low notes as well as that the trunk does not shake. The doors actually shake more than the trunk does lol. I was surpised that it is that loud on only 1500 watts rms... How do I upload a dark video from my blackberry? Put it to youtube first?

AmericanLegend
Conclusion: This type of box and design are HIGHLY recommended for trunk cars that want a specific type of bass (ie lows). It does not play the mid bass super loud (normal system type) and simply comes alive on the deep bass. Here are some of the last pics from yesterday. The sealed rear chamber was assembled inside the car as it was too large to fit through the trunk opening in one piece. The sealed chamber was filled approximately 1/2 full of cotton fill. What else? I guess just look at the box... Pics: Big Bang 15s installed: Try the amp at 1/2 ohm next to a red top?? Port view with the subs installed: Bracing inside the sealed chamber: Zstat 1500.1D 1/2 ohm stable? Cotton Balls:

I got this video imported, but now it has no sound. I may have to use a better camera later to get decent vids. Wait for it lol...

I'm really liking this build, didn't think tuning to 70hz was a great idea even with a 4th order but you made it work apparently. Good job. AmericanLegend
Update: wired the amp to 2 ohms as it was doing the protect thing at 1/2. It's not quite as loud, but still moves people hair inside the car. lol Videos are coming, please be patient...

Without the computer program, I would have never thought to tune the box that high either. The last bandpass I did was tuned in the 50s and made too much low bass. This one sounds great though.
