Wire x1 DVC 4 ohm with x1 SVC 8 ohm final impedance?

How can you wire a DVC 4 ohm with an SVC 8 ohm? What are my final impedance options? I've never combined SVC and DVC...

You shouldn't wire two different subs, vc configurations or different ohm loads together.

generally not a great idea. each sub will end up with different amounts of power.

Personally id buy new subs that matched but you could try wiring the DVC in series for a 8 ohm load and then wireing the 2 8 ohm subs together parallel for a 4 ohm load (check your final load with a DMM? to make sure)

Still not a match. Won't hurt anything, just not the best way to go about things.

Your best bet is to sell one of the subs and buy a matching 2nd sub.
