Wire x1 DVC 4 ohm with x1 SVC 8 ohm final impedance?

I dont think that would be the best idea...... Anyone please correct me if I'm wrong.

What kind of subs and amp?

Personally id buy new subs that matched but you could try wiring the DVC in series for a 8 ohm load and then wireing the 2 8 ohm subs together parallel for a 4 ohm load (check your final load with a DMM? to make sure)

Why another amp? Why not get matching subs?

Run the dvc sub in a series. It should equal close to 8 ohms.

Still not a match. Won't hurt anything, just not the best way to go about things.

Your best bet is to sell one of the subs and buy a matching 2nd sub.
