IKnowImLost224 Posted December 16, 2011 Author Report Posted December 16, 2011 I can get close to a 4 ohm reading from and positive terminal to any negative on this sub. If its dual VC wouldn't I get a 0 ohm reading from one of the positives to one of the negatives? Quote

If its dual VC wouldn't I get a 0 ohm reading from one of the positives to one of the negatives? no, because when one of them is pos to neg, that is part of wiring a sub in series. just do what is said. Positive from coil 1 to positive on coil 2, then negative on coil 1 to negative on coil 2. Then put your meters positive prong into the positive on coil 2, then the negative prong to the negative of coil 2. it should read 1.8-2.2 ohms. If it reads ~3, connect the two prongs of the meter together and wait and see what ohm load comes up. report back with these two numbers. PICS OF SAID SUB WOULD HELP. EDIT: some SVC subs have two positives and negative to help wiring multiple subs together so you dont have to jam 2 10ga wires into 1 10ga terminal. It's a sticker on the sub under the connectors and ends in 04. Well that blows donkey dick. Thanks for the help everyone Quote
