choosing the right stall speed on a torque conveter

Aint making 500 wheel on a mild cam in that LS2

So you know its aggressive

My good buddy has a tbss

Make 430 wheel and has a 2600 stall

Your best bet is to call the Mani of the converter and they'll want to know the Rearend gear ratio, displacement, cam profile, compression ratio, transmission model and..

And probably a few things more. When I did mine in my Lightning, this is what was asked of me to do before my purchase.

ive been talking to andy from A&A corvette in oxnard but i forgot to ask him what stall he recs. he told me the yank isnt too agressive for daily driving but when you get on it its the complete oppsite.

I would call JW Trans and see what they think your vehicle would need. all the members of any forum all day can tell you what they think you will need. at the end of the day, they most likely have never owned your vehicle with your mods before. chances are they are just guessing based on having a similar experience.

JW has been around a long time and they have converters in some of the fastest auto vehicles in the world.

My daily driver has a 3k stall and it locks up just fine on the highway and works great with the 408 on 14psi. I wouldn't go any higher if you want to maintain street ability.
