iPACKgoldDOTS Posted January 14, 2012 Author Report Posted January 14, 2012 The 8s are open to lower frequencies only till the 18s get here to pick up the slack. I had three Type R 10s before and I had them down to 60 Link to my build log : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/128213-fi-sp4-18s-3400-watts-on-each/

armykyle1 Posted January 14, 2012 Report Posted January 14, 2012 Like most things in car audio, definition of SQ is subjective imo. Some people think my front stage is full on SQ, but to me it's more SQL. To the OP I like the front stage, the work looks great, seems like everything should blend well and give you pretty imaging. If it were me I would still keep the 8s playing in 60s, maybe 75 with a 12db slope. Either way it looks great man, nice work TEAM XS POWERTEAM HEAVY HERTZMy build- http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/194454-e46-bmw-build-pos/#entry2914134youtube- http://www.youtube.com/user/armykyle1big build starting

I tuned a little tonight and have em crossed at 50. Even free aired in a door the 8s sound amazing at 50 hz. I know people are like oh play this frequency or play that blah blah but I'll tell you what the set up as it sits sounds dope and I have never had a listener in person tell me other wise lol Link to my build log : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/128213-fi-sp4-18s-3400-watts-on-each/
