The wires were cleaned up after this pic. lol I had Two 15" DC XLs on an American Bass VFL 500.1. It will be missed. I am downgrading pretty bad, Not sure how I will handle that. New car is a 2005 Mustang GT. I don't want the weight of multiple batteries, huge subs, huge amp. Stock looked a little boring, painted the chrome black, looks a lot better in my opinion When the subs cam in a nail was picked up and stuck through the packaging. Barely touched the sub, just scuffed the motor a little. I like size comparison pics Sitting in the box for my 15"s I ordered six, two are for my wifes car, the other 4 are mine. herbykw Posted December 22, 2011 Author Report Share Posted December 22, 2011 (edited) Got a little more work done. Installed my new JVC KW-AVX640 in dash dvd player. This dash kit sucked. I had to take a dremmel to it and cut pieces off, and even sand down the inner edges of the face to make this deck fit. I didnt get a pic of the completed install of the deck, it was too dark by the time i finished. I ran a strand of 1/0 from the front to back JUST WAITING ON BUYING AN AMP. Finished up my box. The external part of the port will extend out a few inches an be flared. The more i get ready, the more excited i get to hook it up and see what these little guys can do. The final box install should be done in the next few days. So i should get some pics with the subs in.
