Lucky4Designs
Jacob, I was wondering since there is not ventilation on the bottom of the motor unlike the v.1's and the vents have been relocated around the spider landing, does this mean there is no required mounting depth limit? (of course the bottom of the motor won't touch the max. depth of the box ) 2001 Toyota Corolla CE: 4x Crescendo PWX6.5's 2x Crescendo FT1-SE's 1x DC Audio lvl 2 M1 8 (looking for more) Slot port box 0.7ft^3 @ 31.77hz Rockford Fosgate R750.1 1/0 Knu wiring all around Looking for XS Power D1200

aquill1
Just read through all pages and saw the recommended ported cu ft recommendations. I saw that it was asked what the sealed recommendations were but didn't see an answer. I thought in the earlier specs that it wouldn't mind sealed, but it was a while ago so I could be mistaken. I didn't see how big the box was in the PSI PR thread on SSA either. Edited January 20, 2012 by aquill1

(of course the bottom of the motor won't touch the max. depth of the box ) Right -- the magnet can be as close to the box wall as you want now. I also didn't have enough room in the back plate to drill through and not hit the shorting ring -- the v.1 didn't have a shorting ring. - Jacob Fuller - Owner, Sundown Audio - Sundown Audio on FACEBOOK - Please DO NOT PM ME -- use my email address -- [email protected]

The PR box was an 11" cube internally -- about the same size as a ported box. - Jacob Fuller - Owner, Sundown Audio - Sundown Audio on FACEBOOK - Please DO NOT PM ME -- use my email address -- [email protected]
