LT.Smoke
Can someone recommend a program that i could possibly purchase online so i can work on my comp tonight... My computer randomly freezes up for like 2 minutes then resumes normal operation... Im thinking its probably a registry error or something of that nature... If you guys could recommend a fix or a program that i can buy to fix my comp i would GREATLY appreciate it Quote Team MaxRetribution Si Vis Pacem Parabellum Id rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6 Bowhunting- Life Begins and Ends at Full Draw Bowhunting Team Fatal Trajectory Hunt Team http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/49335-sick96vtecaccords-t-line-build/?hl=sick96vtecaccord << Accord Build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/68498-smokedout08impalas-tline-build/?hl=+sick96vtecaccord << Impala T-line build Rebassed.com for all your music needs 👌

john78
The most typical reason for pc gets frozen is a corrupt computer registry. Probably your registry is bloated and overstuffed with a variety of ineffective pieces of data. The operating system whilst operating your pc has got to pick its way via all this extra material. You will see parts of applications that have been not completely un-installed, parts of applications that have been never absolutely installed, fragments of miscellaneous data, ineffective drivers, and a variety of other parts and pieces. The solution is to clean up your computer registry and eliminate all the material which isn't needed.
TLEJ
Try to get a copy of "Registry Easy".. It might not be your registry though. Does it only freeze on certain things.. ie: Flash apps? .. Youtube.. etc.
Tarball
I recommend creating a new user account and test on that account. You may find your issue vanishes. There are a lot of other variable to consider though. This is just one troubleshooting step. Wow, didn't realize this was a necro... optical
Have you tried basic things like disk cleanup and disk defragment?
RooTxBeeR
Try ccleaner. Its free. And work very good Yes CCleaner is a an amazing tool and also free. Another tool I can suggest is Advanced System Care 4, there is a free version and a pro Version. The pro version adds a few more tools than the free has but that program is also a great one, has lots of tools to help you adjust your computer, and change settings along with ways to keep it clean.
