After wiring everything up went to test it out and it basically will not put out any power. Powers up fine and is actually getting a signal to the sub ( just enough to notice if feeling the sub ) but will not put out full power. If i turn the gain to like 75% i can get maybe an 1/8" of movement if that. Sub is a DC lvl 4 D1. Sheena Posted December 24, 2011 Report Posted December 24, 2011 lack of bass knob will not effect the hifonics products. to test this i set the gain max on my BRZ1200 and my bass knob all the way to MIN. i unplugged the bass knob at low volumes and it defaults to the amp settings. so your fine there :] i also noticed after hooking the amp up, (about 10 seconds) i thought it wasnt working either, i had to go to about 90% gain for some reason, and now it sits at 50% gain with no settings changed. jack your gain up and play with it at low levels of volume, turn the amp off then on, and see if that fixes anything.. i'm purposefully overlooking the LPF and subsonic filter because you're not retarded and you wouldnt have the LPF set to min, and the subsonic to max. 09 Civic EX KDC-X395 (2) SKAR Audio VVX-12 Skar Audio SK-1500.1 4 cu ft @32 (new box and more port soon) Firing Forward not sealed off Stock 80 Amp Alt Big 3 In 1/0 Knu 2 Runs To The Back 1 Pos 1 Neg In 1/0 Knu DD-1'd 13.8v drop
