305 means the section width or widest part of the tire in millimeters, 30 is the aspect ratio, or profile of the sidewall. So this tire's sidewall height would be 30% of its width. r for radial which is the construction method of the tire. 26 would be the rim diameter.

I know you got 4s but 6s with a 305 tire will probably rub depending on your off set,

My 305/30/26 rubbed bad on the front.

Mine rubbed if someone sat in the passenger seat (added weight) or I hit a bump, turned hard, or reversed lol.

Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

haha yeah so basically unless it was just you in the truck driving very carefully and barely cutting the wheel to turn they rubbed. I did a bunch of research on it and I didn't want the hassle everyone said 26s rub 24s don't or if they do it's so minimal it can be corrected easy. Plus I figure with the extra few hundred I'll save on getting 4s I can do a couple other things to the truck right when I get it
