cmrs2k
He did a pretty good job. I wonder what kind of control systems are used in these setups. The concept seems simple enough, but the control wirework and the relay blocks, etc. I'm sure it would get to be a lot of work and probably a good deal of $, unless there is some really intense Xmas light control system for sale at Home Depot that I've never noticed. Anyone know what is being used?

audiofanaticz
Most likely they used some type of DMX controller for club lighting effects with many relay packs. Here is a computer based program http://pssl.com/Martin-DMX-512-Lighting-Control-Software-USB But they also make regular 19" rack mount dmx controllers too. such as http://pssl.com/Martin-Freekie-DJClub-DMX-...ting-Controller Here is a company that sells the controller and dimmer/relay packs in one package. http://pssl.com/ELATION-DMX-OPERATOR-PRO-P...W4-DIMMER-PACKS With these controllers you can teach the lights to do what you want, or run pre installed programs, or have the lights move to the beat via sound activation. Most likely there is some programming used tho to keep the show the same every time it is played. There are cheaper controllers out there, but martin is top notch lighting equipment so there is a big price tag. Im just guessing that dmx controllers and packs where used since it be the simplest way to go about doing it, but I may be wrong.
